If we “take on” too much in making changes we can get overwhelmed. As a result we may end up just ditching the whole plan. Instead, make small changes. For example, what if you made one easy change a week? Just one simple tweak a week can have long lasting results!
Here are some ideas to get you started;
Week 1: Start your day with 8 oz of warm water with lemon. This is a great way to begin your day, warm lemon water provides for a gentle cleanse and helps detoxify your system.
Week 2: Along with your new daily habit of warm water with lemon add in a commitment to eat at least one piece of fruit a day.
Week 3: Buy a green super food power, like Green Abundance, and begin using this to make a morning smoothie with almond milk, frozen fruit and/or a high quality protein powder.
Week 4: Commit to dry brushing your body each day (5 to 20 minutes), this is an amazing practice that moves stuck lymph through your system, conditions your skin, detoxifies and can help with cellulite.
Week 5: Begin taking a detox bath or two each week. Add 2 cups of Epsom salts, 1 cup of baking powder and a few drops of essential oil to a warm/hot bath and soak for at least 40 minutes. Make it a meditation by listening to calming music.
