Summer Slushies Part II, Recipes!

In my last  blog I shared with you the basics on how to create cool summer slushies. Today I am going to share some of my favorite recipes with you. These are easy, yummy and quite a bit less than the $4 smoothies and frozen coffee concoctions offered by local restaurants.  Enjoy!

Watermelon Mint Oolong Cooler

1 cup cold oolong tea

4 mint leaves

4 – 5 frozen cubes of watermelon and enough oolong tea ice cubes to make 1 cup total

Stevia to taste

 

Dreamy Creamy Swirl

1 cup almond milk

1 cup orange juice ice cubes

A dash or so of vanilla powder

Stevia to taste

 

Chai Cool Down

1 cup almond milk

1 cup chai tea ice cubes

Stevia to taste

 

Frozen Mocha

½ cup almond milk

½ cup brewed coffee, cold

1 cup coffee ice cubes

1 – ½ tsp cocoa powder

Stevia to taste

 

Lemon Ginger Ice

Juice of ½ lemon and cold ginger tea to make 1 cup

1 cup ginger ice tea cubes

Stevia to taste

 

Green Goddess

½ cup almond milk

½ cup of brewed yerba mate, cold

2 tsp of powdered green food (like Green Magma or Garden of Life Perfect Food Green Formula)

A dash or so of vanilla powder

Stevia to taste

 

Icy Berry Bliss

1 cup of ice tea

Frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.) and enough ice tea ice cubes to make 1 cup total

Stevia to taste

 

Pina Colada Frosty

½ cup lite coconut milk

½ cup pineapple juice

1 cup pineapple juice ice cubes

A dash or so of vanilla powder

 

For the above recipes, simply places all ingredients into the provided tumbler, secure the twist on lid/blade and whirl! Enjoy! And remember to share your recipes with us, we are always looking for new slushie ideas.
