Winter is just around the corner, and for some of us, baths go right along with this time of year. Make the most of your soak with these amazing baths that not only warm you to the bone, but provide other benefits as well:
Lymph System Tune Up
Add 2 pounds each of sea salt and Baking Soda to your bath and soak for 20 to 30 minutes. I buy my sea salt at the dollar store – no kidding!
Heavy Metal Clean Up
Add 1 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar, 2 Tbs ground ginger, 1 Tbs cayenne pepper, and 2 pounds Epsom Salts. Soak for 20 to 30 minutes. Take 2 of these baths with 1 week in between.
Bladder Infection Bath
Add 1 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar to a bath and soak for 30 minutes.
Add 1 small bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide and a thinly sliced lemon to water. Soak for up to 30 minutes.
Add 1 Tbs of dulse flakes to a pot of boiling water. Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and add to hot bath water and soak for 20 minutes.
Feel free to turn down the lights, light a candle and turn on some soothing music. Sit back, relax and heal! Once you are done, take it easy. Though these baths feel relaxing, your body is doing some work. Take it slowly when getting out of the bath.
