Holiday Beauty

Saving money and living well go hand in hand for me. Just because you do not have billions of dollars lying about should not negate you from living well – and being beautiful. Plus, with the holidays just around the corner, why not take advantage of these easy and revitalizing beauty ideas that cost little but provide big results!

Honey Facial Wash

In the palm of your hand mix 1 Tbs honey (preferably raw) with ½ Tbs baking soda. This face wash is wonderful for whisking away the bacteria while simultaneously exfoliating to reveal renewed skin.

Holiday Glow Face Mask

In a blender combine to a smooth paste:

1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup chopped avocado
1 egg white
2 tsp powdered milk

Apply to clean face and leave on for 30 minutes, rinse with cool water.

Lovely Lips

Mix 1 tsp aloe vera gel (from the health food store or from an aloe vera plant) with ½ tsp coconut oil and 1/8 tsp Vitamin E oil. Put into a small clean container.

Glitter Pearly Whites

To whiten teeth mix 75% lemon juice with 25% salt, and swish around in your mouth for a few minutes.

Now, how easy and inexpensive are these beauty recipes? Enjoy!
