Holiday Gifts Improve Motivation

According to a recent survey conducted by Staples Promotional Products, 75% of employees feel that gifts improve morale, 60% felt it encouraged them to have more favorable views of their company and 33% said a gift provided for increased productivity. As well, gifts increase the chance that people will do business with you again.

You may not have business colleagues or employees, but gift giving is a big deal. And the more thoughtful the gift the better! Perhaps you have a neighbor who has been especially helpful this year, a teacher that has gone out of their way to help your child or a mail person that takes the time to walk big stacks of mail to your door rather than try to shove it all into your tiny mailbox. Whatever the case, be on the lookout now for those small gifts that come from the heart and motivate people to remain by your side.

Also, always make sure to keep a few extra gifts on hand. As much as we try to remember everyone on our list, sometimes we do forget. As well, you never know when someone may do something that requires a thank you from you!
